PARIS -- The Latest on the French Open (all times local):
Czech teenager Marketa Vondrousova needed four match points to end a four-match losing streak against Petra Martic and reach the semifinals at the French Open.
Vondrousova prevailed 7-6 (1), 7-5 over the 31st-seeded Martic.
"It was a very tough match, I had lost to her four times before, I think Roland Garros is my lucky place," said the 19-year-old player.
Roger Federer has finished off a 7-6 (4), 4-6, 7-6 (5), 6-4 win over friend and fellow Swiss player Stan Wawrinka to reach the French Open semifinals.
It sets up the 39th career meeting between Federer and longtime rival Rafael Nadal.
Nadal has won all five meetings with Federer at Roland Garros.
Rafael Nadal has advanced to a record-extending 12th Roland Garros semifinal with a 6-1, 6-1, 6-3 win over Kei Nishikori.
"I'm very satisfied, it's incredible, lots of emotions," Nadal said. "To be back in the semifinals is something very, very important."
The sky has cleared and play has resumed at the French Open after a rain delay of more than an hour.
Defending champion Rafael Nadal is two sets up and leading 4-2 in the third set against Kei Nishikori on Court Philippe Chatrier.
Roger Federer is leading 2-1 in sets against Stan Wawrinka with the score tied at 3-3 in the fourth.

The International Tennis Federation is honoring Novak Djokovic and Simona Halep at a dinner for champions in Paris.
Halep reached the Australian Open final and won the French Open last year for her first Grand Slam title. Djokovic won Wimbledon and the U.S. Open, taking his tally to 15 majors.
Other winners from 2018, including men's doubles pair Mike Bryan and Jack Sock, will attend. They won Wimbledon, the U.S. Open and the ATP Finals.
Former U.S. Open champion Gabriela Sabatini is receiving a special award for helping young people through her work with UNICEF and UNESCO.
Johanna Konta has reached the French Open semifinals for the first time after beating last year's runner-up Sloane Stephens 6-1, 6-4.
It was the 26th-seeded Briton's third win in three meetings against the 2017 U.S. Open champion, all of them this year.
Konta has now reached the semifinals at three of the four major tournaments, but has yet to reach a final.
She will next play either unseeded teen Marketa Vondrousova or No. 31 Petra Martic.
Roger Federer has a chance to take a measure of revenge against friend and fellow Swiss player Stan Wawrinka in the French Open quarterfinals.
Wawrinka beat Federer in straight sets in their last Roland Garros meeting at the same stage four years ago.
Until last week, that 2015 match was also the last time that Federer played in the clay-court Grand Slam tournament, having missed the 2016 edition to rest a sore back then having skipped the clay season altogether the following two years.
Also Tuesday, Rafael Nadal looks to stay on track for a record-extending 12th title in Paris when he faces seventh-seeded Kei Nishikori.
The two women's quarterfinals scheduled are: last year's runner-up and 2017 U.S. Open champion Sloane Stephens vs. recent Italian Open finalist Johanna Konta; and teenager Marketa Vondrousova vs. 31st-seeded Petra Martic.
Stormy weather is in the forecast.
