If you won the Powerball, which NHL team would you buy?

— -- I'm not a gambler, but every once in a while I'll pick up a $2 quick pick on the Powerball. With Wednesday's jackpot estimated at $1.4 billion, I think I'll get two quick picks this week.

I've always said I would buy an AHL team and run it my way. You know, fashion shows once a week and recycled jock straps (too easy to throw a "Slap Shot" line in there), but with close to a billion in my pocket, I would want an NHL club.

I just tossed that question out on Twitter and quickly received many responses. Most fans said they would buy the Carolina Hurricanes and return the team to Hartford. Most would probably think I would want the Boston Bruins, but that's not the case. I would buy a team, maybe the Arizona Coyotes, and move the franchise to Quebec.

Again, this is just a fun exercise. I'm not looking at league stipulations or anything of that nature. So, if you won the lottery, which team would you want to buy and why?
