May 6, 2014— -- It's the NFL off season and Commissioner Roger Goodell decided to offer himself up for a Twitter chat today for fans, who were asked to send questions using the hashtag #AskCommish.

What happened next was nothing short of a fumble.

Here's a round-up of the burning questions some Twitter users punted Goodell's way.

There were, however some serious questions.

Sen. Harry Reid asked Goodell if he feels he has the authority to act against racism the same way his NBA counterpart, Adam Silver, did with Donald Sterling.

When answering a question about the draft, Goodell declined to pick any favorites.

The NFL did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
