Yoenis Cespedes (shoulder) exits Mets-Cubs NLCS Game 4

— -- CHICAGO -- New York Mets outfielder Yoenis Cespedes departed Wednesday's game against the Chicago Cubs in the middle of the second inning with left shoulder soreness.

Cespedes had walked and struck out in two plate appearances before departing Game 4 of the National League Championship Series. The Mets lead the series 3-0.

Juan Lagares replaced him in center field.

Cespedes is hitting .265 (9-for-34) with two homers and seven RBIs this postseason.
