Sept. 24, 2010— -- Facebook crashed for the second straight day Thursday. About 500,000 people had a little extra time on their hands during what the company called its worst outage in more than four years.

Facebook fixed the problem, which it blamed on a software flaw, and said it was unrelated to Wednesday's outage.

TV junkies can now catch up on episodes of their favorite shows, or watch some of the classics while on the go. Hulu Plus and Bitbop are two new mobile TV apps. USA Today's Ed Baig said both services are promising but not worth it yet.

"Overall, I think $10 a month is a bit too much to pay at this point for either Hulu Plus or for Bitbop," Baig said. "I want to see more programs, I want to see fresh programs and I want to see a few technical snags addressed, too."
