March 23, 2010— -- A new report from Nielsen finds people are spending more time watching TV and surfing the web at the same time. Viewers averaged 3.5 hours of this type of multi-tasking a month last year, up an hour from 2008. Among the most popular sites these people are visiting are Google, Yahoo and Facebook. It seems chatting with friends online is the new way to watch TV together.

The publisher of the Norton AntiVirus software is out with its list of riskiest online cities, ranking the places where you're most vulnerable to cybercrime.Seattle tops the list, followed by Boston, Washington, San Francisco and Raleigh, N.C.

Fashionistas who have always dreamed of designing their own clothes now can, in the virtual world. The popular reality show "Project Runway" has been made into a video game.

"You can mix and match different outfits and accessories and makeup. You can choose your model, you get to choose her hair, you get to choose all the different ways you can dress her up. And then, it's kind of a kick to see Heidi and Tim and all of the contestants right there with you," says parenting.com's Rachel Fisherman-Feddersen. "It's sort of an updated paper dolls for kids who really enjoy fashion, and it's very satisfying." The game is only available for the Nintendo Wii.

You can leave your digital camera at home, the Polaroid is making a comeback. A company called "The Impossible Project" says it has reinvented instant film, and will start selling it this week. Polaroid stopped making the film two years ago, but a group of engineers and enthusiasts devoted themselves to reviving it. The film is not cheap, $21 a pack for just eight black and white images. The company plans to introduce color film this summer. It's being sold online initially, but will eventually be in some stores.
