Harry, an 11 lbs baby pygmy hippo was born at the Cango Wildlife Ranch in Oudtshoorn, South Africa, March 22, 2012.

According to Cango wildlife officials, Harry was named after Prince Harry of Wales, "for his true grit spirit, and for his love and passion for Africa and its wildlife"

The baby boy is the son of Hilda and Herbert, the South African wildlife sanctuary's pygmy hippopotamus pair.

Harry will only grow to be about 3 feet tall and will weigh roughly 400 to 600lbs.

The pygmy's mother was unable to nurse Harry, so he will require around the clock feedings by the Cango staff.

Harry takes a nap after a being showered by attention from the staff and ranch caretakers.
