Jan. 10, 2011— -- Verizon wireless customers who want Apple's iPhone are apparently about to get their wish. Reports say Verizon will begin offering its own version of the iPhone, starting Tuesday.

The Wall Street Journal reported that it will be similar to the iPhone 4, but with Verizon technology.

Apple is having instant success with the online Mac App Store. Apple announced that the store had one million downloads on its first day, Thursday January 6th.

The store carries a relatively low number of apps but Apple CEO Steve Jobs says buyers already love how easy the store is to use.

The Android is now the second most popular smart phone, surpassing the Apple iPhone. Statistics from November show the Android has taken second place in the smart phone market share behind the Blackberry.

If Android sales continue this way, Blackberry could be ousted from the top spot in three months.
