— -- Disneyland Resort is about to turn 60 and to celebrate, the theme park is about to unveil a special edition of the beloved "World of Color" show.

Opening on May 22, “World of Color – Celebrate! The Wonderful World of Walt Disney” will illuminate the night at Disney California Adventure Park.

Watch "Good Morning America" on Thursday at 7 a.m. ET with Jesse Palmer live from Disneyland.

"It's a collaborative effort," said Dave Bossert, Producer and Creative Director Walt Disney Studios Animation Studios Classic Projects. "In this show what's really exciting is we're getting a chance to use Mickey Mouse along with Neil Patrick Harris. To be able to do some animation with live action combination and have them working together to entertain the audience is just spectacular."

The show's storyline, Bossert said, "takes us on an adventure, a story of Disneyland Resort and how it started with one man's dream and where it is today and all of the fabulous animation that's happened in between."
