AeroMexico's New Orleans flights start July 7

NEW ORLEANS -- AeroMexico has released flight schedules for the service it begins July 7 between New Orleans and Mexico City.

The flights will be the first regularly scheduled international air routes involving New Orleans since Hurricane Katrina.

Flights will leave New Orleans at 6:30 a.m. each day except Saturday, arriving at 9:10 a.m. in Mexico City. The flight will then connect through to San Pedro Sula, arriving in that city at 11:55 a.m.

A return flight will leave San Pedro at 12:45 p.m. each day except Saturday, arriving in Mexico City at 4:10 p.m. That flight will connect through to New Orleans with a 10:30 p.m. arrival.
