Alabama Boy Missing For 13 Years Found Safe in Ohio

— -- A missing boy was found safe and unharmed in Ohio, the Federal Bureau of Investigation has announced, thirteen years after his mother reported him missing from Alabama.

Julian Hernandez, now 18, went missing in August 2002. His mother was in legal custody of him at the time of the abduction.

Police say at the time of abduction, it was suspected that the boy's father had taken him.

The father Bobby Hernandez was arrested and charged in connection with the abduction, Alabama's Vestavia Hills Police announced on Wednesday.

The FBI says the case is ongoing and they will not be releasing more details at this time.
