Dec. 27, 2013 — -- A Michigan doctor who mysteriously vanished nearly three weeks ago has been spotted attempting to book a hotel room near the hospital where she works in newly discovered surveillance images.

Dr. Teleka Patrick is seen in footage inside the Radisson Hotel in Kalamzaoo, Mich., on Dec. 6, which was the night she disappeared. The 30-year-old doctor is seen with the desk clerk trying to book a room with cash and appears to be in a rush.

After she was turned away, Patrick uses the hotel's shuttle to get to her car, located at the Borgess Hospital in downtown Kalamazoo, where she worked.

Approximately two hours later, Patrick's car is found abandoned in a ditch off I-94, more than 100 miles away from the hospital in Kalamazoo. Her wallet was still inside the vehicle, but there was no sign of the keys or the doctor.

Police say the car may have had a flat tire. Investigators with dogs tracked her scent and footsteps from the car for about 30 feet to the highway, according to ABC affiliate WZZM.

The last person to see Patrick -- the shuttle bus driver -- told investigators that Patrick seemed agitated.

"She seemed as if she was looking around, as if someone could be following her," private investigator Carl Clatterback said.

Adding to the mystery is more new footage that surfaced morning of what appears to be self-shot videos of Patrick from YouTube. In the video she is showing off a dinner she may have made for someone special.

"Hi love. It's me," she is heard saying in the clip. "We both have orange juice and flowers from last time."

No one in Patrick's family knows who she may be speaking to in the video. Other videos from the same site may also shed clues to Patrick's state of mind.

Patrick, who worked in psychiatry, worked late hours and often didn't sleep.

It's now been almost three weeks since she disappeared, but family and friends hold out hope that the doctor -- known for her smile -- will return home before the new year.

The FBI is now looking into the disappearance, according WZZM. Anyone with information is urged to contact the local FBI office or the nearest American Embassy or Consulate, or in Kalamazoo, the Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Office at 269-383-8748 or Silent Observer at 269-343-2100.
