Officials say about 250 to 300 people evacuated Wednesday night, but that those leaving were voluntary.

The wildfire was burning near the site of the 2013 Yarnell Hill Fire where members of the Granite Mountain Hotshots died when they got trapped by the flames. It was considered one of the deadliest for wildland firefighters in decades.
