The Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture has acquired more than 400 photographs from the Eyejammie Hip-Hop Collection, originally compiled by Bill Adler. Adler was the director of publicity at Def Jam Recordings from 1984 to 1990 and worked with artists such as the Beastie Boys, Run-D.M.C. and countless others. Pictured, Run-D.M.C. on the set of their "King of Rock" video, 1985.
