Runaway Jeep Interrupts Pool Party in Ohio
Jeep crashed through fence and into pool.
— -- This driver may have taken her excitement for LeBron James' return to Northeast Ohio a tad too far by dunking her Jeep into a pool.
Two people were inside the pool in Lakewood, Ohio, when the Jeep crashed through a fence and drove straight into the pool, according to ABC News affiliate WEWS-TV in Cleveland, Ohio.
“I took a dive into the pool and when I hit the water, I was like ‘Oh man, that’s an awesome explosion I did,’” one party-goer told WEWS-TV. “Then, I turned around [and] there was a Jeep in the pool.”
The swimmer pulled the driver out of the submerged vehicle. She was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
According to WEWS-TV, the woman drove through an apartment parking lot before her Jeep broke through the fence and ended up in the pool. Police haven't said whether she will charged.
The party wasn't totally over after the uninvited Jeep's cannonball. Party-goers remained safely on a higher deck as the Jeep was pulled from the water.
