All of this is to say that Britney is teasing a new album and everyone's excited ... including the pop princess.
"Really excited 2 give u a taste of my new album... can't wait 2 share what I've been working on. Going to be my most personal album ever :)" Spears tweeted on July 3.
A release date for the album has not been announced, but it is expected later this year. In Billboard.com's Mid-Year Music Awards poll, the album was voted most anticipated event of 2013.
|Trayvon Martin Lived as Long as 10 Painful Minutes After Shot Fired|
The medical examiner who conducted the autopsy on Trayvon Martin's body testified today that the Florida teenager lived from one to 10 painful minutes after he was shot in the heart by George Zimmerman, and that the wound was impossible to survive.
Dr. Shiping Bao told the court that Martin, 17, was shot in the heart and said, "There was no chance he could survive."
The medical examiner said that Martin would have lived anywhere from one minute to 10 minutes after being shot as his beating heart ran out of blood to pump.
Zimmerman, who is being tried on charges of second-degree murder, has maintained that he shot Martin in self-defense after he was knocked down and beaten by Martin and the teenager went for Zimmerman's gun.

As people across the country celebrated the Fourth of July, there were a few celebrations that took tragic turns.
In Simi Valley, Calif., a fireworks mishap left at least 28 people injured after an "unintended" detonation shot fireworks into a crowd during a Fourth of July display.
Across the country in Bangor, Maine, the day's events got off to a chaotic start when a police standoff forced the parade to take an alternate route. Then, during the parade, an antique fire truck apparently lost control and crashed into a tractor, authorities told ABC News' Bangor affiliate WVII-TV. The tractor driver fell off, was run over and died.
In Edmond, Okla., an 8-year-old boy was killed when his father accidentally ran him over during a parade, authorities said, according to ABC News' Oklahoma City affiliate KOCO-TV. The boy had been on a trailer that was carrying a float when he either jumped or fell off, KOCO reported.

The 36-year-old German-born actress told the latest U.K. edition of Marie Claire magazine that she had the moment of reckoning at age 30.
"Honestly, for a long time I felt that I was so accomplished. 'Oh, I speak three languages, I travel the world, I've seen so many things,'" Kruger said. "But when I turned 30, I realized I was an idiot. I didn't know s**t about anything."
The "Troy" and "Inglourious Basterds" actress also talked about her appreciation of Americans' openness to therapy and how she's sure she "punished many boys for my lack of a father figure."
Kruger has been with longtime boyfriend Pacey Witter, ah, Joshua Jackson ... and rumors are always swirling about their getting engaged.

On July 3, "teamJT" tweeted from Justin Timberlake's Twitter account, "Check out the new video for Tunnel Vision and be ready ... it's explicit."
They weren't kidding. The nudity-heavy video for Timberlake's song "Tunnel Vision" is causing waves online and was even rumored to have been banned from YouTube, but the video is visible on Timberlake's VEVO channel on YouTube and marked "explicit."
He has been saying all these years that he's bringing sexy back, so this should come as no surprise.

It's a match made in heaven.
Russian spy Anna Chapman tweeted, "Snowden, will you marry me?!" The tweet was directed to NSA leaker Edward Snowden.
Shortly after, Chapman tweeted the NSA asking, "Will you look after our children?"
Chapman is going to have to find Snowden if she wants to marry him. He is in hiding somewhere in the world.
|Surprise Wimbledon Star Kirsten Flipkens Loses in Semifinal|
Kirsten Flipkens' Wimbledon-winning dreams came to a screeching halt when she was crushed by Marion Bartoli 6-1, 6-2 Thursday.
The Belgian-born Flipkens was ranked 262nd a year ago and upset No. 8 seed and champion Petra Kvitova Tuesday to advance to the semifinals.
It was the first time in three years that a semifinal round in a major tennis tournament did not feature a former Grand Slam champion.
