text: This week, fans of Robin Williams decided to honor the comedian with an unusual tribute. They’ve signed a change.org petition asking the creators of a new "Legends of Zelda" game to name a character “Robin” in honor of the actor.

Williams reportedly loved the Legends of Zelda video game so much he named his only daughter after the title character and the duo starred in a recent ad for Nintendo where they played games side by side.

Australian Nick Schaedel posted the petition soon after Williams’ death was announced and it has already garnered nearly 100,000 signatures.

“He won't get to play it, but he'll live on forever in a universe he always loved,” wrote Schaedel. media: 25007045
