— -- The countdown is on to Super Bowl 50 next Sunday in California and “GMA” has a special correspondent covering the huge event, 11-year-old Marlo Mosley.

Marlo, from San Jose, Caliornia, was chosen last month by the NFL from thousands of young football fans as the league’s Play 60 Super Kid. The prize is a seven-day adventure to Super Bowl 50 Feb. 7 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

Marlo went one on one Monday night with the biggest stars of the Carolina Panthers and the Denver Broncos as the Super Bowl players met the members of the media at the game's Opening Night.

Marlo got right to the point with Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning, asking the 39-year-old player what he meant when he told New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick this was his “last rodeo.”

“I don't really know what that means,” Peyton told Marlo, asking her, “What do you think it meant?”

When Marlo told the NFL star she thought it meant he was retiring, Manning joked, "Oh, no, no, no. You totally missed the point. I'm going to go participate in rodeos."

Marlo also grilled Manning’s competitor, Panthers quarterback Cam Newton, about how he trained to be a great quarterback.

“Just like you train to be great at anything else,” Newton replied. “You have to put your mind to it."

While Marlo’s job Monday night was to report, she also looked ahead to a future career.

“When I grow older, I just want to be head coach like you in the NFL so I was wondering what advice you would give me,” Marlo asked of Panthers head coach Ron Rivera.

“Nothing says a young lady cannot grow up to be a head coach in the NFL,” Rivera replied.
