1. Meet the Woman Who Helped Police Catch the UVA Abduction Suspect

A woman who went to a beach in Galveston, Texas, to relax instead helped police catch the suspect charged in the disappearance of a University of Virginia student.

The woman, who identified herself to ABC News station KTRK as Karen, said she recognized Jesse Matthew from wanted posters related to the Hannah Graham case.

"I instantly knew it was him," she said. "It was frightening."

2. Stewart Says Crash Was '100 Percent' Accident

There were days when Tony Stewart couldn't get out of bed. It was a chore to take a shower, to leave his room. The television was on, he would stare at it, and have no idea what he was watching.

He didn't care about racing. He didn't want to talk to anyone, let alone face his family, friends or other drivers. Stewart's grief over the death of Kevin Ward Jr. was overwhelming, and he couldn't find his way out of the fog.

Stewart, one of NASCAR's biggest stars, spent three weeks in seclusion at his Indiana home after the car he was driving struck and killed Ward at a dirt track in upstate New York. He describes those weeks to the Associated Press as the darkest of his life.

3. Apple Says It Has Received 9 Complaints of Bent iPhone 6 Plus Devices

It turns out not that many people are bent out of shape about their apparently crooked iPhone 6 Plus devices.

Of the millions of units Apple has sold since the iPhone 6 Plus went on sale nearly one week ago, the company said today it has received only nine complaints from customers who said their devices were bent.

"Bendgate" has taken on a life of its own since the thin, super-sized iPhone 6 Plus was released last Friday, along with its smaller sibling, the iPhone 6. Photos began circulating online of the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus appearing bent after users reported keeping the device in their pants pockets.

4. Derek Jeter's Last Home Game Shows Why He's 'Captain Clutch'

They don't call Derek Jeter "Captain Clutch" for nothing.

Jeter, who has always had a flair for the dramatic, said farewell to Yankee Stadium on Thursday night with a walk-off single to drive in the winning run in the bottom of the 9th inning. The Yankees beat the Baltimore Orioles, 6-5. An elated Jeter jumped and raised both arms between first and second.

After he was mobbed on the field by his teammates, he stood in the middle of the field and tipped his cap to the fans he has played in front of the last 20 seasons.

"It was above and beyond anything that I've ever dreamt of," Jeter said on the field immediately after the game. "This was a lot of fun. Thank you. Most importantly, I'm going to miss the fans."
