1. Royals Say Goodbye to Australia

Britain's Prince William and his wife, Kate, ended their 10-day tour of Australia on Friday with veterans' day commemorations in the national capital. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended a ceremony at the Australian War Memorial marking the 99th anniversary of the ill-fated Allied troop landing on Turkey's Gallipoli Peninsula. Their baby George later cried as the family boarded an Australian air force plane at Canberra airport after they were bid farewell by Prime Minister Tony Abbott and Governor General Sir Peter Cosgrove.

2. Drunk Passenger Causes Scare on Virgin Australia Flight
A drunk passenger tried to break into the cockpit of a Virgin Australia flight today, an airline official said. The plane landed safely on Indonesia's resort island of Bali, and the passenger was taken into custody.

Heru Sudjatmiko, airport manager for Virgin Australia, told Metro TV on Friday that the passenger was acting aggressively and was handcuffed by the crew.

3. Justin Bieber Leaves LAX After Being Detained
Pop star Justin Bieber left Los Angeles International Airport late Thursday after being detained for several hours, KABC-TV reports. Bieber, 20, offered no comment as he left. According to his Twitter account, he left from Japan earlier today.

4. Seabed Search for Missing Malaysian Jet to Widen
The seabed search for the missing Malaysia Airlines jet is set to widen as a sonar scan of the most likely crash site deep beneath the Indian Ocean nears completion without yielding a single clue, authorities said Friday. Meanwhile in Beijing, about 50 relatives of Chinese passengers on the plane continued a sit-in protest outside the Malaysian Embassy after officials failed to show up to update them on the search.

5. Meet the Star of 'Jem and the Holograms': Aubrey Peeples
Everyone meet Aubrey Peeples, who is "truly outrageous" and ready for her first starring role in "Jem and the Holograms." The Hollywood Reporter announced today that the young actress will take on her first major movie role as the hip singer from the mid-1980's. You might remember her from 2013's "Sharknado" movie.
