1. Vanished Broncos Fan Found Safe, Back With Family

Paul Kitterman, the 53-year-old father who went missing during halftime at Thursday's Denver Broncos-San Diego Chargers game, has been found safe, police said.

Denver police made the announcement on their Twitter account: "DPD confirming that Paul Kitterman has been located and is safe after going missing from the Bronco Game." Later they added: "Paul Kitterman was located in Pueblo, Colorado. Again, he is unharmed. All questions should be directed to the family."

He was later relocated with his family, his stepson Jarod Tonneson confirmed.

Pueblo is about 115 miles south of Denver, and more than 200 miles from Kitterman's hometown of Kremmling, Colo.

2. Rocket Explodes on Launch for Space Station Supply Trip

An unmanned space station supply rocket exploded into a fireball seconds after launch from Wallops Island, Virginia Tuesday. No injuries were reported.

Orbital Sciences Corp. said in a Tweet shortly after the 6:22 p.m. ET explosion that there had been "a vehicle anomaly."

"This shows how difficult and maddening this business really is," Bill Gerstenmaier, associate administrator of NASA’s Human Exploration and Operations Mission Directorate, said in a news conference.

3. Unstoppable Lava Flow Reaches Hawaiian Town

A river of molten lava has oozed into a small Hawaiian town, covering the yard of two houses closest to the volcano, Hawaii County officials reported.

The lava flow has been edging its way towards Pahoa on Hawaii's Big Island for weeks with authorities and residents powerless to halt or divert it.

"You can only imagine the frustration as well as... despair they're going through," Hawaii County Civil Defense Director Darryl Oliveira said of residents fleeing their homes.

4. World Series Game 7 Tonight

The baseball season all comes down to this – one final game tonight to decide 2014’s champion. The Kansas City Royals against the San Francisco Giants for baseball immortality, Game 7.

The Royals won Game 6 Tuesday in a blowout, 10-0. This is the first time the World Series has reached a seventh game since 2011, when the St. Louis Cardinals topped the Texas Rangers. The previous Game 7 before that came in 2002.

5. Former Baseball Star Jose Canseco Hurt in Accidental Shooting

Former baseball star Jose Canseco accidentally shot himself in the hand at his Las Vegas home Tuesday, police said.

Metro police Lt. Mark Reddon said the former Oakland Athletics outfielder told police he was cleaning his gun in the kitchen when it fired, shooting a finger on his left hand.

The slugger at the center of the steroid scandal that rocked baseball, staining the reputations of some of the biggest names in the game over the last two decades, was taken to University Medical Center, Reddon said.
