1. Exclusive: Police Officer Darren Wilson Discusses Firing Deadly Shot

Ferguson, Missouri police officer Darren Wilson discussed his account of the moment he shot and killed black teenager Michael Brown in an exclusive interview with ABC News.

Speaking to ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos, Wilson said Brown was charging at him, disregarding the officer’s instructions.

“I started backpedaling, ‘cause he’s just getting too close and he’s not stopping,” Wilson said.

“After I fired the second round of shots, he gets about eight to 10 feet [away]. And as he does that, he kinda starts to lean forward like he’s gonna tackle me. And eight to 10 feet is close and what I saw was his head. If he’s gonna tackle me, he’s gonna tackle me at that point. And I looked down my barrel of my gun and I fired.”

2. Police Fire Tear Gas at Protesters in Ferguson; 44 Arrested

Police fired tear gas at protesters in Ferguson, Missouri overnight after a police car was flipped over and set on fire, with dozens arrested as violence erupted in the city for the second consecutive night.

Police arrested 44 people overnight, including four on felony charges, St. Louis County Police chief Jon Belmar said at an early-morning news conference. Rioting occurred at Ferguson’s city hall building, with windows broken and the police car vandalized, leading officers to fire the tear gas – the only place where tear gas was used, Belmar said.

3. Nor'easter to Hit in Time for Thanksgiving Travel

More than 46 million people will be traveling this week for Thanksgiving, making it the most-traveled day in United States this year.

Several areas around the country, however, will see unsettled weather that could interrupt your travel plans.

Snow is expected to fall on I-35 from Twin Cities to Des Moines and on I-94 through Wisconsin. Also, I-5 from Seattle to Portland will be wet with occasional pounding due to heavy rain forecast there. I-90 will be snow covered through the northern Rockies as well. The east coast will also be impacted.

4. Homeless Man's Posting Nets Thanksgiving Dinner with Family

Neal Shytles spends the holidays alone.

The 54-year-old is homeless and has been living in a shelter in Norfolk, Virginia, for two years. With no family nearby and Thanksgiving approaching, Shytles has longed for something that money can’t buy.

This holiday season, his wish has finally come true.

5. Alfonso Ribeiro Wins in 'DTWS' Season 19 Finals

After a hotly contested finale in which only a few votes separated the final three contenders, actor Alfonso Ribeiro emerged the winner of season 19 of ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” at the conclusion of the two-part finale.

Ribeiro and his partner Witney Carson beat out “Duck Dynasty” star Sadie Robertson and her partner, Mark Ballas, and “Pretty Little Liars” actress Janel Parrish and her partner, Val Chmerkovskiy, to claim the coveted mirror ball trophy.

Ribeiro appeared elated as he hugged Carson, and he was in tears as he talked with the show’s co-host, Tom Bergeron.

“I cannot believe this,” he said. “I’ve wanted it forever … I don’t even know what to say. These are happy tears.”
