Storm Ron Claiborne and ABC news world headquarters in New York. -- ABC news -- digital report developing now the struggle to get stubborn wildfires in the west. Under control it's been a long night for residents in parts of California. And Oregon threatened by the flames who were told -- get out in a hurry. Firefighters being hampered by high winds low humidity and rising temperatures ABC's -- Deedee Roy has more from our Los Angeles bureau. -- western wildfires are burning out of control and -- forced hundreds out of their homes. Let's start -- or again rough terrain and high winds -- the big challenges for firefighters in Corvallis. The -- 100 acres and crews -- just starting to gain the upper hand more than 200 homes were evacuated. Residents are being allowed to go home but are warned they may be forced out again. Let's go -- -- -- -- county California near Yosemite where 300 acres are burning. That fire has forced 700 people out of their homes. It started under a major bridge dry conditions and the statewide drought are making this -- a tough one for firefighters so far.
