I'm David Curley federal charges have been filed that the busy Dallas airport was the center of an alleged conspiracy. To move drugs through security and on to jetliners headed to Newark Charlotte and Phoenix involving American Airlines employees. Prosecutors say the suspects thought they were moving methamphetamine. And offered to transport. Much more work. Rice our concern. Is when individuals get any type of contraband through the security system at the airport and onto commercial airlines. But take it very seriously no matter whether it's illegal narcotics. Our weapons or explosives. Ten employees charged one still at large at least seven worked for American Airlines this undercover sting started in 26 team. The prosecutors saying the suspects violated trust. For cash American Airlines telling ABC news quote we take this matter very seriously and are cooperating with law enforcement. During their investigation. And it's not the first time two years ago a jetBlue flight attendant with seventy pounds of cocaine in a bag. Dropped it kicked off her heels and ran when an officer asked to check the bag. She pleaded guilty and was sentenced to time served and in Atlanta a delta baggage handler pleaded guilty to using his badge to swipe in this man. A former employee with a bag full of loaded guns which he was allegedly smuggling to New York. Authorities say more than 150 guns were smuggled until an arrest.
