With Reports Hackers Use Facebook for Identity Theft, Do You Think the Web is Safe Enough?

March 18, 2010— -- Hackers are now using Facebook for identity theft. A new flood of Facebook spam targets the hundreds of millions of facebook users around the globe, tricking them into downloading software that can collect sensitive data like bank passwords and other information.

While spamming through Facebook messages isn't new, this latest threat comes in a regular e-mail message that tells a Facebook user the password on their account has been reset.
