March 30, 2010— -- The Republican National Committee and its chairman, Michael Steele, found themselves embroiled in a new controversy Monday after financial reports surfaced revealing what many people have called lavish spending habits.

The reports include receipts for tens of thousands of dollars spent on posh hotels and private planes. Also coming under scrutiny is a $2,000 bill from a high-class, topless nightclub in West Hollywood, Calif.

Steele did not attend the event at the topless club, and the RNC has fired the staffer who took wealthy donors to the club. But the latest set of disclosures puts Steele's leadership into question once again.

Steele has evoked criticism in the past for his lavish spending, which includes a Christmas party at the Newseum in Washington, D.C., and a RNC retreat to Hawaii.

Our question to you today: Do you think Michael Steele is a liability to the Republican Party?
