ABC's Mara schiavocampo at that New York hospital for us tonight. Reporter: Joan rivers daughter saying in a statement, my mother has been moved out of intensive care and into a private room where she is being kept comfortable. While she didn't provide an explanation for the move, this week she confirmed her 81-year-old mother does remain on life support. One doctor who is not treating rivers says it can be hard to tell what the move means. The fact that Joan rivers has been moved into a private room potentially is good news. The very night before going into the hospital, rivers was performing in New York City. The woman known for making so many laugh now in everyone's prayers. Rivers is reportedly surrounded by family and friends. The hospital isn't providing anymore details on her condition.
