Next tonight amid they are scared just after take off from Dallas Fort Worth passengers hearing a loud noise and in seeing flames right outside the window. The pilot ordering an emergency landing and here's ABC's Steve Corel. Seconds after take off this is what passenger seat flames shooting out of the left engine. Yeah very deeply. It's a better position that you protect your heart. Those flames and a boom in a banged lasting several seconds. A pilot throttles back that engine turns the American Airlines A 321 around and lands. Safely with one engine the 130 passengers and six crew relief. What happened is called a search basically a backfire in a jet engine. The boom in momentary flames from extra fuel in the engine which ignites. But no one including those American Airlines passengers ever wants to see flames coming out of an engine most of the passengers were put up in a hotel they made it to Seattle today.
