Now we take you to south Africa in round two of intense grilling for Oscar Pistorius on the shooting of his girlfriend. Today the prosecutor began to dig in on the motive. ABC's Matt Gutman was there. Reporter: It was Oscar Pistorius' moment of truth but truth was not what lead prosecutor Gerry nel thought he was getting. You're not telling the truth. He has admitted to killing his girlfriend, reeva steenkamp in the bathroom of his home last year, now saying his gun accidentally discharged. Accidentally your fingers pulled the trigger? I started shooting at that point. At the intruders? At the door. So it wasn't accidentally? I'm getting confused with accidentally or not. Reporter: This is where the prosecutor stands, but the cameras don't show you how close he is to Oscar Pistorius on the witness stand. There was no question Pistorius's love for steenkamp. The strategy, if the prosecution can show he's untruthful, they hope the judge won't believe the killing was an accident. It's working. What did the prosecutor? It's gone. Reporter: The story is just beginning. Matt Gutman. ABC news's South Africa. We have the latest on the sick baby rescued at sea after her parents took her on a sail
