In a civil lawsuit obtained by ABC news, sports broadcaster Kelli Tennant is accusing Walton of assaulting her inside a Santa Monica hotel while he was an assistant coach for the golden state warriors. Tennant, who asked Walton to write the forward for her 2014 book, says she was giving a copy to Walton when he allegedly invited her into his hotel room. The lawsuit claims Walton pinned her on the bed, kissed her on the neck and chest. And states Tennant was "Afraid she was about to be raped." An allegation Walton's attorney flatly denies, calling Tennant "An opportunist, not a victim," saying "Her claim is not credible." The date of the alleged encounter is unclear.
