Back now with the many questions around the disappearance of a woman from Anaheim, California. Tonight, the disturbing police discovery in the back of a U-Haul truck. Here's ABC's Marci Gonzalez. Reporter: Tonight, police in southern California focused on a bizarre death investigation. A body found inside this U-Haul truck now identified as this missing 29-year-old woman. Our detectives are working to identify anybody associated with the truck. Not only who might have rented the truck but anybody who might have driven the truck. Reporter: U-Haul employees making the gruesome discovery after the vehicle was abandoned in Anaheim. Police identifying the woman as Ashley manning. Her remains, wrapped in cardboard and plastic, so badly decomposed, police don't know how she died, but they tell us tonight they are now investigating this as a possible homicide. Even if we don't have a homicide, we still may have potential crimes here that we're investigating. Reporter: Manning's sister writing on Facebook that she was last seen in mid-november after landing at L.A.X. Days later she says manning posted on social media and was never heard from again. Ultimately somebody's family is gonna want answers as to why their loved one was found in this condition in this manner. Reporter: Tonight, police say they are awaiting toxicology results to help determine how manning died. Tom?
