Go Inside George Clooney and Cindy Crawford's Adjoining Mexican Villas
Take a look at these gorgeous adjoining homes built by two best friends.
Oct. 4, 2013 — -- Friends for more than two decades, George Clooney and Rande Gerber, Cindy Crawford's husband, used to travel to Baja together, "staying at different hotels and drinking tequila," Gerber told Architectural Digest for its November issue.
So, it made perfect sense that these best friends would build neighboring vacation homes in Los Cabos, Mexico, after they saw a breathtaking oceanfront lot a few years back. Now, the trio share the gorgeous compound Casamigos, comprising two glorious and distinctive homes -- one for Clooney, 52, and one for Crawford, 47, and Gerber, 51. Not surprising and also fitting, Casamingos means "House of Friends."
The trio are so close that they basically share the two homes, Crawford told the magazine. "Our lives go back and forth. We'll have cocktails at our place and dinner at George's, and vice versa."

Each adjoining villa is entered through a long hallway and double-height courtyards. Crawford and Gerber's courtyard is the definition of clean and elegant, utilizing whites and woods, while the "Gravity" star's has a bit more flash with extra color and decorative lanterns hanging from above.
The Crawford-Gerber pool has a breathtaking view of the ocean and Clooney's living room is perfect for entertaining his Hollywood friends, such as Brad Pitt and Matt Damon, with plenty of seating and beautiful unobstructed views.
