Lech Walesa praises Romney but says he lacks charisma
-- WARSAW, Poland—Mitt Romney scored an unofficial endorsement from Nobel Peace Prize winner Lech Walesa on Monday, but it apparently wasn't because of his charisma.
As the Wall Street Journal's Sara Murray spotted, the legendary Polish leader later appeared on the Polish news channel TVN24 after his meeting with Romney and said the Republican candidate still has some work to do to win the presidency.
Charisma is something Romney 'doesn't really yet have," Walesa said. "But he's very observant. He gets its fast and draws conclusions, which means he has all the traits of a good leader. But he still needs to do some rallying."
Romney is set to wrap up his overseas trip Wednesday afternoon with a speech in Warsaw that is expected to praise Poland's economy, according to aides.
