SNEAK PEEK: Boys Club

November 1, 2007— -- Hillary Clinton, '69, spent part of Thursday at Wellesley College talking up the "two feet" rule.

"We had to observe then what was called the 'two-feet rule': that meant two out of four feet had to be on the floor at all times. Try it sometime."

While the former first lady was feeling nostalgic at her alma mater, what she calls the "All Boys Club of Presidential Politics" kept after her.

Indicative of her still murky position, some went after her for backing Eliot Spitzer's controversial plan to give driver's licenses to illegal immigrants.

"I never thought I'd see Hillary Clinton get pinned down and have to answer a controversial question," Fred Thompson said in Las Vegas.

But while Thompson was hammering her on Sean Hannity's program for "taking 12 hours to come up with the wrong answer for America," the Edwards camp maintained that she still hadn't answered the question.

"Forty-eight hours after the debate, we have lots of excuses, but we still don't have a yes or no answer to a yes or no question," said Edwards communications director Chris Kofini. "That's not the 'politics of piling on,' it's the politics of parsing."

For his part, Mitt Romney obliquely tried to extend his criticism of Clinton to Rudy Giuliani, who opposes Spitzer's plan but welcomed undocumented workers to New York as mayor, by ripping into what Romney called a "sanctuary state of mind among liberals" that "needs to be stopped."

On Friday, five Democratic '08ers -- Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, Chris Dodd, Dennis Kucinich, and Mike Gravel --appear before 22 of the leading disability organizations which are gathering in New Hampshire. John McCain will participate in the forum, which is being hosted by Granite State Independent Living, by phone.

Giuliani comes to Washington, D.C.'s Phoenix Park Hotel, for an 11:00 am ET endorsement from someone other than Norm Coleman, who endorsed the former New York mayor on Thursday. Giuliani then heads to New Hampshire.

Bill Richardson delivers a policy address to veterans and military families in Davenport, Iowa one day after being endorsed by former Chrysler CEO Lee Iacocca. Watch it: LINK
