Liam Hemsworth announces new action movie 'Killerman' release

The actor shared details on the project on his Instagram.

He issued a brief statement on Instagram requesting privacy, explaining that he would not be speaking about the split, and now it seems he's moving forward and focusing on other matters in his life.

The actor broke his silence Wednesday to announce his upcoming action film, "Killerman," will premiere this Friday.

"I’m incredibly proud of the work everyone did on it," he wrote alongside a still from the movie.

In the film, he plays a money launderer with amnesia on the run from police.

"It was an absolute honor to work with my friend Emory Cohen again, one of my favorite actors; Malik Bader, an extremely creative and intelligent director, and the brilliant Ken Seng for his work as Director of Photography," the actor wrote on Instagram.

"Blood, sweat and tears were shed from all who were involved," he added. "Independent film making is always a tough thing to pull off and I just want to thank all the hard-working people who helped make it happen."

Check out the film's official synopsis:

"When NYC money launderer Moe Diamond wakes up from a car crash, he's left with no memory, millions in stolen cash, and an insane crew of dirty cops hunting him down. With a stranger who says he's his best friend and a fiancee he doesn't remember, Moe must race against the clock to discover his own identity -- and escape his past, before it destroys any chance at a future.
