Britney Spears Bedazzles Calif. Mansion With Christmas Lights

ABC

Britney Spears never does anything small or out of the public spotlight, even when it comes to her Christmas decorating.

Spears has turned her rented mansion in an exclusive San Fernando Valley, Calif., neighborhood into a winter wonderland complete with thousands of lights, inflatable yard decorations like a giant Santa Claus and snowman and a jolly old St. Nicholas perched on a chair.

The decorations will no doubt delight the 30-year-old singer's two young sons - Sean, 6, and Jayden, 5 - but no word on what her neighbors in the gated community, including golf legend Jack Nicklaus and tennis star Pete Sampras, think of the design.

The pop superstar is renting the 10,000 square foot mansion for a reported $25,000 a month while she decides where in the Los Angeles area to relocate.  She wrapped her 79-date, worldwide Femme Fatale Tour Dec. 9.

The Christmas decorations on Spears' home may soon be replaced with wedding bells.

Jason Trawick, the pop star's former manager and boyfriend of more than a year, confirmed to " Access Hollywood" today that he proposed to Spears on Thursday.

"Yes, we are engaged," Trawick said, saying he's "over the moon" and so is Spears.

A marriage to Trawick, 40, would be Spears' third.

She divorced her former back-up dancer, and father of her two sons, Kevin Federline, in 2006.

Her first marriage, which she had annulled after less than three days, was to her childhood friend Jason Alexander in January 2004.
