'Portlandia's' Hipster Hilarity Returns Tonight
If you haven't been to "Portlandia," go now.
The IFC show that was one 2011's best comedies returns for a second season tonight at 10 p.m. For the uninitiated: "Saturday Night Live" vet Fred Armisen and alt-rocker/actress Carrie Brownstein play a cast of 20-somethingish characters in a fictional Northwest city that looks just like a hipster colony whose name also begins with P. Watch them force a patron of their feminist bookstore to buy something in exchange for using their bathroom:
And inquire about the provenance of the organic chicken they may or may not eat (depending on how many acres the chicken roamed on and whether the hazelnuts he ate were local):
This season, look forward to Armisen and Brownstein enveloping a new batch guest stars in their antics, including Andy Samberg, Jeff Goldblum, and Eddie Vedder.
