R. Kelly owes the IRS $4.8 million after skipping out on his tax bill for five years.

According to TMZ, the "I Believe I Can Fly" singer didn't pay his taxes between 2005 and 2010. He owes $1,472,366.77 for 2005 alone.

But the 45-year-old R&B star didn't seem worried about paying it off. His rep told the gossip site, "R. Kelly is in the process of working everything out with the government and is confident that all his obligations will be satisfied."

Kelly's rep didn't offer an explanation for why the singer stopped paying his taxes.
