'Girls' Star Welcomes Baby Girl

"Girls" guest star Shiri Appleby now has a girl of her own.
The actress who appeared in the last episodes of season 2 of the hit HBO series gave birth to a baby girl on Saturday. Fiance Jon Shook, a chef and owner of L.A. eatery Animal, is the proud papa.
"She's heaven," Appleby told Us Weekly about her daughter, whose name was not made public. "I'm beyond thrilled."
The "Roswell" alum, who also appears on "Chicago Fire," announced she was expecting just five months after Shook, 31, popped the question during a trip to Ventotene, Italy.
Appleby, 34, gushed about how supportive her husband-to-be has been during her pregnancy.
"When you see this guy going to all the doctor's appointments with you, and you tell him you're feeling a certain way, and two minutes later he's looked it up on the internet to tell you that it's normal, you realize that you're really starting a family with somebody," Appleby told Us. "There's no way to look at that person and not be more in love."
