TV Land is making history. The women of the "Mary Tyler Moore Show" will reunite on television for the first time since the show's finale in 1977, the cable channel announced today, as Mary Tyler Moore, Valerie Harper, Georgia Engel and Cloris Leachman join Betty White on an upcoming episode of "Hot in Cleveland."

In the episode, Elka, played by Betty White, and Mamie Sue, played by Georgia Engel, decide to get their old bowling team together after a falling out decades earlier. The team, GLOB: the Gorgeous Ladies of Bowling, works in all the "Mary Tyler Moore" women.

Harper's recent announcement that she has terminal brain cancer should make her appearance especially poignant for her castmates - and viewers.

This will be the second "Hot in Cleveland" visit for Mary Tyler Moore: Moore played White's cell mate on an episode in season two.

"Shows like 'Hot in Cleveland,' which stars four women, would not be here today without 'The Mary Tyler Moore Show,' and its incredible female-led cast," TV Land's President Larry W. Jones said in a statement today. "Mary, Valerie, Cloris, Georgia and, of course, our Betty, were all pioneers for women in television."

"Hot in Cleveland" returns for its fifth season on June 19.
