The Boy Behind the Best Bar Mitzvah Dance Ever

Mazel Tov! Mazel Tov!

In the Jewish culture, a Bar Mitzvah is when a boy becomes a man, but in 13-year-old Sam Horowitz's case, it's also when he became a viral sensation.

Horowitz, from Dallas, became an overnight Internet superstar thanks to an amazing video showcasing his remarkable dance abilities at his Bar Mitzvah celebrations last November.

As if Horowitz being introduced to his party guests by an array of burlesque dancers to the tune of Christina Aguilera's "Show Me How You Burlesque" wasn't enough, he then emerges from a giant chandelier to join his dancers in a well-choreographed piece to "Dance Again" by Jennifer Lopez featuring Pitbull.

"It was so much work," Horowitz said today during a Skype interview on "GMA LIVE!"

"I had to practice every weekend for three hours for a month, and when the show actually got close we had to start adding extra rehearsals with the dancers and the chandelier so everything fell into place. It took a lot of practice."

Horowitz says the elaborate idea was a joint effort with his mom, Angela, after they had seen a show where dancers popped out of chandeliers. "The performers came out of chandeliers and I was like, 'Wow. I have to do this.'"

Although the young man has done acting and singing before, dancing was a new experience for him, and one he believes he'll continue to pursue.

"Oh my gosh, it was so fun," he said. "I tell everyone that my Bar Mitzvah was the best day of my entire life."

However, Horowitz does want everyone to know it wasn't just the performance that made that day so special for him.

"The party really was special, but the party is just a celebration," he explained. "It's really about the service, and it took two years to prepare for that. It's a really big milestone in my life and it meant a lot to me, so I'm happy people are enjoying it."
