Twitter Reacts in Shock and Grief Over Death of Philip Seymour Hoffman

Fellow actors and stars mourned the loss of "one of the greats of his generation," Oscar winner Philip Seymour Hoffman, who was found dead today at 46.

The "Capote" star was found in his Manhattan apartment at 35 Bethune St. in the West Village neighborhood of Manhattan this morning, according to the New York Police Department.

Just as the news broke, many who worked with him or just admired the actor took to Twitter share their shock and grief.

Hoffman's influence can bee seen across the board, as the likes of singer Justin Timberlake, rapper Q-Tip and actors like Jim Carrey, Mia Farrow, Aaron Paul and Whoopi Goldberg all took to social media to pay their respects.
