Andrea Bocelli Marries Longtime Girlfriend

After 12 years together, Andrea Bocelli, 55, and his girlfriend Veronica Berti, 30, finally said, "I do."

A rep for the Italian tenor confirmed the marriage to People magazine.

The singer and his longtime companion married on Mar. 21 in an intimate ceremony in the Italian coastal town of Livorno, according to the magazine.

Only a handful of close friends and family attended the ceremony, including Bocelli's sons, Amos, 19, and Matteo, 16, with his first wife Enrica Cenzatti.

After Bocelli split from Cenzatti in 2002, he began seeing Berti, and in 2011, the couple welcomed daughter Virginia, now 2.

It is the first marriage for Berti, and the second for Bocelli.
