Home For Sale Sign: 'Husband Left Us For a 22 Year Old…'

An Oregon man has learned there is truth in the saying "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned." His ex-wife is making their divorce very public.

When Elle Zober found out her husband of 10 years was cheating on her with a much younger woman, she knew there was no reconciling and the two were done.

Now that she is selling their Beaverton, Ore., family home she has put up a sign in the front yard that reads "Husband Left Us for a 22 Year Old… House for sale by scorned, slightly bitter, newly single owner."

"I've gotten calls from Sweden and Scotland and Ireland and a man from Japan called to buy the house," Zober tells ABC News Radio.

Zober and her ex-husband have two children together. She says his cheating was a complete shock to her entire family.

If one looks closely at the sign, the fine print says "Adulterers need not apply." Zober admits the sign is all about getting attention.

"We thought it was a funny way to get exposure," she says. "We anticipated people driving by the sign and posting it and thinking it was funny. We did not anticipate the level of personal interest that's happened."

Zober's ex-husband knows about the sign and even helped pay for it. She says he likes the sign and is okay with it as long as it helps sell the house. Right now they are trying to avoid foreclosure. The final line of the sign reads "We Loved This Home. You Will Too."
