You may have already heard about the K-E Diet, or "Feeding Tube Diet," but chances are you've never seen results like this. Many people may think of this diet as a fast way to lose 20 pounds for a wedding or party. However, Dr. Gianfranco Cappello, the Italian doctor who first developed the diet, claims that this is more than a quick fix, and can lead to long-term weight loss.

Dr. Cappello is presenting a paper this week at The European Association for the Study of Obesity in which he reports that on average, patients on the K-E Diet lost 10% of their body weight. In the long term, the patients have kept 85% of their weight loss off, on average.

A male patient in the study lost 88 pounds in only three and a half months using five cycles of the K-E Diet. A female patient, pictured above, lost an amazing 154 pounds over a 10-month period.
