So what are you supposed to do in your pro sports team goes away. It's a question that fans in different cities have asked themselves from time to time when they're teens packed up and lead to greener pastures and this year as a question that I asked myself. And Hennessy Louis van fans and they came from LA in 1995. And we have the same ticket every year effort to twenty years in town. Another they've been taken away continue Citibank and evil owner I just can't root for them anymore. So I decided to turn to my friend and colleague Neil pain to help me figure out who my new NFL team should be. So when vice and I were talking about the fact that she didn't have an NFL team anymore. We started kind of patching this idea of doing it using data picking a new team from scratch according to the numbers the first step was. Reading each teen and various categories that would be important when trying to determine whether you should be a fan of them so these are categories like. Ownership quality player like ability future wins and so we ended up with sixteen different categories including the ones I just mentioned and the next step was to figure out. How much emphasis to put on each of those when it came to picking a team so I created this survey form that it gives her two options that she can pick from and she would pick the one that was more important and when you do that many many times. You can kind of come up with an implied. A ranking of what are the most important and least important categories as a fan. Modifying what's important to you and your fanned them and putting a number on it and then seeing which teams match up best what that. So I took meals survey answering those questions more than 3300. Times and then he invited me and a 530 it's hot takedown podcast for he would reveal to me which teams were the best match based on the factors that mattered to me most as a football fans. So many bad efforts are filibustering. Well. Oh. Coming in number five over the Buffalo Bills and number four we have the New England Patriots wealth look I yes. And I hope to close that Guerrier. You got it if you hate so a number three beat Kansas City Chiefs and the teams that I thought would actually be might be year number one contender at number two. We have the Pittsburgh Steelers it's a so let's let's let's do that tomorrow. And the winner as the Green Bay pack. The Packers rated really high in low number of player suspensions they were number one and ownership with a hundred out of a hundred they were 97 out of a hundred in player like ability after the Green Bay Packers are your team found hanging sixty NFL season. I'll take it thank you very much Neil I am so glad you're here to solve this mystery that it'd been really fun experience. Well the data has spoken I'll be trading in the blue and gold for the green angle. To celebrate your knew packer fan and promised that follow which ever team the data told me that followed throughout the 2016 football season so if you two got Aaron Rodgers.
