Super Bowl week in that usually means obsessively focusing on the quarterbacks in this year's matchup especially wind itself to that with Tom Brady and Matt Ryan to the best in the game. But I've got my eye on a player that doesn't line up under center. And that's Julio Jones the receiver for the Atlanta Falcons. By any metric you a look at Jones is the best receiver in football and it all starts with a freakish combination of size and speed. So look at every receiver in the game this year and I and plotted out there com buying forty yard dash times and they're measured height. If you look at this chart you'll find that Jones combines the two better than anyone else wanna be going this way in the charred. In other words he was the fastest player of his height. And he was also the tallest player of his speed that's a pretty lethal combination if you think about what it takes to be a great receiver. But Jones is about more than just freakish miserables he also excels at the technical aspects of playing the position. To show this I looked at the top 98 receivers in football during the season and are graded them in each of the following five categories. Getting open. Going deep. Cats in the damn Baugh. Running when that after you've caught it and just for good measure blocking for your teammates. After raking every receiver in each of those categories Jones stands out as the only player Adam 98 qualified receivers who ranked in the top forty in each and every category. And for my money that makes him the best all around receiver in the NFL today. He's one of the biggest reasons why the Atlanta Falcons had the best op and sinful while one of the best offenses of all time. Having said that. The falcons will be going up against the New England Patriots who had the second best offense in football during the regular season and in concert with the defense and special teams. Are you a model says that the patriots have a 61%. Chance of winning even though Julio Jones is so great. But as they say we'll see how it plays out on the field.
