  • "The Great Gatsby" hits theaters next week, but the stars are already celebrating: On Wednesday night, the cast, crew and their friends and family went to the famed Plaza Hotel after the New York City premiere for a Mo√ęt & Chandon-sponsored bash. According to a partygoer, Leonardo DiCaprio arrived first, followed by Jake Gyllenhaal, who came with Mumford and Sons musician Marcus Mumford. (Mumford's wife, actress Carey Mulligan, who plays Daisy Buchanan in the film, was also there, as was her co-star Isla Fisher, who stayed close to husband Sasha Baron Cohen all night.) Later, Gyllenhaal joined Tobey Maguire at his table, and while DiCaprio stayed put at his table for most of the evening, he jumped up when his friend Jay-Z arrived shortly after midnight. Also making appearances were Martha Stewart (wearing gold leggings!) , Florence Welch, and of course, director Baz Luhrmann. After the soiree ended, many of the stars headed to an after-after-party with at the Darby restaurant in downtown Manhattan, where they were joined by Amanda Seyfried, Jamie Foxx, Tom Hardy, Anja Rubik, Coco Rocha and Gayle King . The group all packed in to sip Voli cocktails and hear a 1920's-inspired performance by Dandee Wellington and the Darby Band. When the show came to an end, guests danced to music spun by DJ Sal Morale and then DiCaprio, Jay-Z and Gyllenhaal moved to nearby 1 OAK, where they commanded the VIP section before heading home after 4:00 a.m.
  • The next night, "True Blood" actor Alexander Skarsgard attended the after party for his film, "What Maisie Knew" on the rooftop of Manhattan's McKittrick Hotel, says an onlooker. Guests sipped Qui tequila cocktails and mingled alongside Penn Badgley, who chatted up Richard Kind by the bar. Also there: Russell Simmons, who worked the room in a New York Yankees hat and "Girls" star Zosia Mamet, who arrived with a date.
  • And in LA: On Tuesday night, Amy Poehler hosted an intimate salon to promote the work of Worldwide Orphans, an organization aimed to help orphan children around the world, a partygoer dishes. In addition to Sean Hayes and "Pretty Little Liars" actress Annabeth Gish, Poehler's "Parks and Rec" castmates came out to support their friend: Aubrey Plaza walked around the party holding hands with pal and "Newsroom" star Alison Pill, while Nick Kroll "was nothing but smiles and laughs," a partygoer says.
