Tennis player Caroline Wozniacki has denied the latest round of reports that she and Irish golfer Rory McIlroy have broken up after she posted a less-than flattering picture of him on Twitter.

Speaking to Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet on Monday, the Danish pro said, via Google Translate, "I'm so tired of the rumors. They occur every time Rory and I are apart a few days or do not write on Twitter. There is nothing in it, and from now on I just think that I will keep my private life private. It is so annoying that the media and the so-called sources constantly spread the rumors. They write just what they want."

"All is well," Wozniacki said when asked about the relationship.

"I just want to be allowed to live my life off the court without all the speculation," she said.

Serena Williams Mum on Caroline Wozniacki Impersonation

In August, the couple, who have been dating since 2011, denied reports that they had ended their relationship.

Wozniacki helped fuel the latest round of rumors after she posted a photo on Twitter last month of McIlroy, 24, in a deep sleep with his mouth hanging wide open.

Ireland's Independent reported Sunday that McIlroy decided to end the relationship, quoting a source saying, "Rory was very upset by it and even Serena Williams pointed out - albeit in a joking way - it was a pretty mean thing to do."

This isn't Wozniacki's first try at a practical joke that has seemingly backfired. Last December, the 23-year-old was criticized for her impersonation of friend Serena Williams after she padded her shorts and top and strutted around the court at the Roger Federer Tour in Sao Paulo.

Williams' rep declined to comment on the stunt. But Wozniacki's rep told ABC News, "It was all in good fun, as Serena is one of her closest friends on tour."
