Oct. 4, 2012— -- It may come as no surprise that Despierta America host Chiqui Delgado – the same dashing diva that charmed the socks off Tom Hanks last year and bonded with Sofia Vergara recently on the set of Modern Family – loves her heels. But you may be surprised to learn just how much.
At 40 (and fly and fabulous, we must say), the former Venezuelan beauty queen is a loving mother of two girls: her eldest, Maria Elena is 20, and lives in New York City where she studies theater, and her youngest, Carlota, just turned 2.
Somehow, Chiqui is able to get up at an ungodly hour each morning to host Univision's top-rated morning show from 7 to 11 a.m., tape her host segments for the reality dance competition show Mira Quien Baila (airing Sunday nights), and still find time to be there for her daughters.
So how does she do it? Well, let's just say her five-inch heels are part of her super-woman armor.
